Most of how people dab today started on TaskRok's bench. The first fully adjustable titanium nail. The e-nail. The carb cap. A patented quartz chamber that became the Gavel, which birthed the era of Surface Enhancement.

Clear quartz walls over a porous, opaque quartz floor. The bubbles in the floor scatter light and heat evenly. It became the first all-white-bottom banger.
Best Other Than Glass Product of the Year, four years running: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014. Nominated again in 2015 and 2017.
The Gavel, rated the #1 banger of 2017.
One of the first titanium brands. The first nail was the V1 Castle Top, followed by the first titanium dabbers. Made in the USA.
The V3. One nail to fit any vapor dome height.
No torch: a domeless nail heated by a hot runner coil and a PID controller. TaskRok had the idea; Dave Jensen engineered it. See the log ↓
The first fully adjustable, convertible domeless nail, and the first with multiple joint compatibility: every 14 and 18 mm joint, male or female.
Sketched on a cardboard box on July 21, 2013. The first caps were on Instagram the next day, and wholesale opened a month later. See the log ↓

Color on titanium tools, plus the TriniTi domeless nail and the UniTi universal carb cap.
A machined quartz dish on a titanium body, the V1, which grew into the QX2 line.
The first all-quartz HE nails, and the first anywhere to use opaque quartz to vaporize.
The opaque-floor quartz banger, patented as US 10,837,928. It made opaque quartz popular across the market.
With Gordo Scientific: the first cap with dual air channels the user controls, bubble cap or vortex or both. In the cap log ↓
Surface Enhanced: a floor engineered for pool boiling and evaporation, after years of testing processes and designs.
An SE pillar spun at about 2,600 RPM inside the Tower. It brought the thin-film technique to dabbing.
The first prototype was running before TaskRok could even get on Instagram (Android users got in on April 5, 2012). Through May he posted the coils, the controllers and the assembly. Then he took it public at the High Times Medical Cannabis Cup in Richmond, CA, June 23–24, 2012: he worked the booth by day, and Task Rok & Linus played the Saturday night show on a bill with Del the Funky Homosapien. Finished units went on sale that August.
The idea was TaskRok's. The engineering was Dave Jensen's.

On July 21, 2013, TaskRok drew the idea on a piece of cardboard: a cap that turns the airflow into a vortex over the dish. The next day the first titanium caps were on Instagram, with holes cut at 45° so the spinning air spreads the oil and lets it vaporize at lower temps. After a few weeks of testing hole patterns, carb caps opened for wholesale on August 21.
Within seven months came the dabber handle, the MiniCap, the one-hole cap, the Highly Educated name on every cap, and anodized color. In February 2018 came the GTR with Gordo Scientific: TaskRok's idea, Gordo's glass, and the first dual-intake carb cap, which works as either a bubble cap or a vortex spin cap.
They started as a drawing on the back of a cardboard box in July 2013, and the next day he introduced the first production prototypes to the world via an Instagram post.Jimi Devine, "The Definitive History of the Carb Cap" ↗, Cannabis Now (2018)

710 came out of a 2010 TinyChat dab session with Healthstone and the BeeHive Oil crew. TaskRok was the one who saw it: 710 is OIL upside down. The Movement, Task & Linus's second album, dropped on 7/10/2011 as the first 710 celebration. Now it's the concentrate community's day.
